We spent two days last week working on solo projects at Hack Reactor. I built a visualization of literary influences, beginning with Thomas Pynchon. Who, aside from being totally amazing, a genius, and one of my personal role models, also has a lengthy section on Wikipedia. To visualize the relationships between Pynchon and the writers connected to him, I created an arc diagram in D3.

Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Monday, June 21, 2010. Sorry for the lack of Pictures and blogs over the last month! Opening ceremonies, however my flight back to Dubai left just as the game was starting. After Joburg, I was called out for a Moscow, Russia flight. The flight was only 4. 5 hours from Dubai, and Moscow is beautiful! We were all exhausted from the flight over, and from out wander around the Red Square and the city of Moscow so we declined the offer. Dubai is getting way too hot! .
