ADVENTURES IN STARTING A CRAFT BUSINESS! Monday, June 20, 2016. A firm deadline always works for getting a project done. This quilt was for my friend and it just had to be done before the baby shower. I used the Denyse Schmidt Quilts Book for the inspiration and made my own templates. It was actually suppose to be a few squares bigger but I like the smaller size. Always weary of putting too much effort into a project and having it come out only ok. Or worse, ugly! Off to enjoy the rest of my vacation! .

Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Wednesday, December 4, 2013. New Year and New Work. The bimonthly Art and Lagniappes are coming to an end. They have been very interesting and productive. New discoveries about materials and techniques were made with each workshop. In 2014 I will return to using the blog for my own art news and images except for occasional entries about workshops at Gallery Jatad or the Jung Center.
